Marc had a superb first full season on The European Tour in 2006, when he won his maiden title at the Scandinavian Masters on his way to winning The Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year. He went on to win the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles in 2007 and then won the Omega Mission Hills World Cup with Colin Montgomerie.
