Pete's Players Past and Present
Richard Finch
Winner of the English Amateur Champion in 2002, Richard turned professional in 2003. He recorded his maiden tour victory at the Michael Hill New Zealand Open in 2008 and followed it up with a memorable win at the Irish Open, including falling into the water playing his approch to the 18th in the final round. He lies 18th on the Order of Merit in 2008.
Mark Foster
English Amateur Champions in 1994 and 1995, Mark joined the tour in 1996. He finished a creditable 79th in the Order of Merit in 2006. In the 2007 season he finished tied for 4th at the Open de Espana, his best finish to date on tour. His best recent finish is 10th at the Johnnie Walker at Gleneagles and he lies 88th in the rankings.
Alex Noren
Alex is another exciting young Swedish player currently working with Pete and Mike Walker. He has represented Sweden as an amateur and enjoyed a successful first year on the Challenge Tour, winning the Rolex Trophy on his way to finishing 3rd. He lies in 49th position on the European Tour in 2008.
Louis Oosthuizen
After winning the 150th anniversary of The Open Championship at St Andrews, Louis continues his meteoric rise under the tutelege of Pete.
In joining fellow countrymen Bobby Locke, Gary Player and Ernie Els by winning the 2010 Open, Louis has emerged as one of the brightest stars on the European Tour.
After enjoying some early career success with a win in the Irish Amateur Championship, Louis was then a member of the winning team (along with Charl Schwartzel) at the World Junior Team Championships in 2000 and his career is showing no sign of slowing down 10 years on.
