Win over Tiger Woods in the Chevron World Challenge Concludes an Incredible Year for Graeme McDowell

Graeme McDowell topped what has been a incredible year for the Northern Irishman with a dramatic play-off win over Tiger Woods in the Chevron World Challenge in California.

McDowell staged a brilliant comeback against Woods, coming from four shots down to force a play-off with a stunning putt. He then won the tie in similar fashion to take home the $1.2m prize money and cap what has been the most successful 12 months of his career.

“2010 has been the stuff of dreams,” McDowell admitted after his triumph in California. “Playing one of the greatest golfers who has ever played and to beat him like this, I'm just ecstatic.”
